Integration with CONNECT Issue Resolution

AssetWise ALIM for Transportation’s Comments Tracking (CT) functionality provides a workflow mechanism to control the review and approval of submitted documents containing files that are linked to the CONNECT Issue Resolution (CIR) application. Issues created in the CONNECT Issue Resolution application can be exposed in Comments Tracking for publishing to a Comments Tracking Comment and then subsequently approved for distribution to those outside of the Comments Tracking workflow. This section describes the configuration required for the Comments Tracking and CONNECT Issue Resolution applications to work together.

This feature is exposed in the Comments tab for Tasks and Documents. The configuration settings for this feature are described in the configuration section for Comments Tracking. There is also a server component that must be installed and configured. Refer to the corresponding documentation for further details.

Note: An AssetWise Community (Repository) cannot be used for both Issue Resolution Integration and standard Comments Tracking. Either one or the other must be configured as described.
